Vadret, 2013
Not Vital studied in Paris and Rome before moving to New York in 1974. He is a modern day nomad; his work is very much influenced by the surroundings of his studios, which are situated in various locations around the globe. Vital has exhibited internationally at venues including the Bündner Kunstmuseum Chur, Chur, the Yorkshire Sculpture Park; Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York; Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York; The Arts Club of Chicago, Chicago; Ullens Centre of Contemporary Art, Beijing; Museum der Moderne, Salzburg; Kunsthalle Wien, Vienna; and the Kunsthalle Bielefeld, Bielefeld.
