Booth E4
Ben Brown Fine Arts is delighted to return to Art Basel (Booth E4) with an exhibition dedicated to the legacy of major European and North American artists who developed radical approaches to making art, stretching traditional notions of painting and representation to physical and conceptual limits. Our historical presentation focuses on the ground-breaking practices of Alighiero Boetti, Alberto Burri, Lucio Fontana, and Enrico Castellani in Italy; Gerhard Richter in Germany; Jean Dubuffet and Yves Klein in France; Antoni Tàpies, Miquel Barceló and Pablo Picasso in Spain; Wassily Kandinsky in Russia; Frank Auerbach and Tony Bevan in the UK; and Alexander Calder and Sean Scully in the US. The works encompass a variety of media, all belonging to the gallery or coming from private collections and reflecting our depth of expertise and resources.
