The exhibition illuminates significant connections between the works of Gavin Turk and Jens Wolf, two artists from the Marta Collection.
The forms of appropriation or expansion of reality are practically unlimited, in our everyday lives as well as in art. Jens Wolf, a representative of new abstraction in painting, and Gavin Turk, who belongs to the generation of Young British Artist, and works with sculptures, installations and drawings, approach the traditional lines of art history in different ways. In their precise execution, their works display a perfection which becomes “cracked” due to deviations and fractures.
