The Museo Nacional del Prado in Madrid will exhibit for the first time the reverse of Las Meninas, the iconic painting by Diego Velázquez, through an unpublished work by Vik Muniz. It took the Brazilian artist two years to reproduce in three dimensions a photograph of the back of Las Meninas that was taken in 2018, when it was taken down for a technical study. The work will be exhibited from November 7 in the context of the exhibition "Reversos".
