克洛德•萊蘭和弗朗索瓦•沙維爾•萊蘭從60年代已各自和一起被稱為"萊斯拉蘭"。弗朗索瓦•沙維爾•萊蘭在他1952年的首次個展認識了克洛德 (她當時的姓氏是Dupeux)。他在那次展覽後舍棄了油畫並轉移到雕塑。萊蘭夫婦的作品曾在世界各地重點博物館被展出如紐約國立設計博物館、巴黎國立現代藝術館、巴黎蓬皮杜藝術中心、巴黎自然歷史博物館和紐約Cooper Hewitt 博物館。
