MIQUEL BARCELÓ: El Arca de Noé

Universidad de Salamanca celebrates its 800th anniversary with an extensive exhibition El Arca de Noé  by Miquel Barceló between 28 April and 1 October 2017.

Approximately 80 works are shown in several public spots at the university and in the city: Sala de Exposiciones Hospedería Fonseca, Sala de Exposiciones Patio de Escuelas, Capilla del Colegio Arzobispo Fonseca, Plaza Mayor de Salamanca, Patio del Colegio de Anaya y Patio de Escuelas Menores de Salamanca.

Most of the exhibition works were created in the last six years and made with different techniques, such as painting, sculpture, ceramic, works on paper and performance, which shows the constant changeableness of Barceló and his vast œuvre with suprising formal and iconographic richness.
